June, 24th was an important date for the Claretian Missionaries, because they celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. At San Antonio Maria Claret Parish in Ciudad de San Cristóbal, Guatemala, the group of lay Claretians (Seglares Claretianos Itinerantes por el Reino) renewed their Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We were invited by the parish in order to do our first consecration together with them.
They presented us as a Lay Claretians discernmet group. As you already know, the name we chose for our group was Saetas Claretianas (Claretian Arrows); We also presented our symbol. It was a relevant moment for every one of us, we felt a warm welcome in our community. This journey that we have undertaken commits us to be faithful in following Jesus and in living the kingdom. We have chosen this way because we find in the Claretian Missionaries our source of inspiration as disciples of Jesus.
